The MEW Market Appreciation Night was a delightful throwback to traditional celebrations, bringing together staffs and vendors to revel in the festivities. The MEW Market Appreciation Night transported attendees into a realm of cultural celebration and community bonding. Something that can’t be missed out for Chinese New Year Events is definitely the Lion Dance and Lousang! Kicking off the festivities was the mesmerizing Lion Dance, its energetic drumbeats and graceful movements sets the mood for the night. This was followed by the joyous Lousang ceremony, where colorful ingredients were tossed high, symbolizing luck and togetherness.

Now, let’s talk food! The buffet line was a feast of tradition, serving up tasty treats like kuih from Kedai Kopi Malaya, Tong Sui desserts by Hock Shan Dessert, and of course, some crispy fried goodies. Meanwhile, the Kids Corner was buzzing with excitement as little ones played with kinetic sand, unleashing their creativity.

And who could forget the Tagbooth Photobooth? From props to backdrops, there was no shortage of options to spice up each photo.
